Abstract

The study aimed to find out:1- Evaluate several kinematic variables for the throwers in the effectiveness of discus throwing, the research sample at the throwing stage.2- Evaluate the mechanical bases for the launch of the projectile specified for achievement at the throwing stage of the discus throw effectiveness.3- The relationship between several kinematic variables with the mechanical bases for the launch of the projectile specified for the achievement of the effectiveness of the discus throw the research sample at the throwing stage. The researchers hypothesized: There is a significant relationship between several kinematic variables with the mechanical bases for the launch of the projectile specific to the achievement of the shooters in the effectiveness of discus throw the research sample at the throwing stage. The two researchers used the descriptive approach in the style of related relationships for its relevance and the nature of the research problem. The research sample included (5) of the most prominent discus throwers in Nineveh Governorate, who participated in the individual sports championship approved by the Iraqi Central Athletics Federation. The researchers used measurement, questionnaire, and scientific observation using (4) video cameras at a speed of (120) images per second, and they were after the cameras as follows:
