Abstract

The research aims to find out the effect of using mind games on the achievement of third-grade primary school students. For the purpose of verifying the research objective, a null hypothesis was formulated, and the researchers used the experimental approach with two equal groups. The research population consisted of third-grade primary school students in government primary schools for boys in the Mosul Center for the academic year. (2023-2024) The research sample included (60) who were randomly distributed into two groups, one of which was experimental and numbered (30) students, taught according to mind games, and the other was control, numbered (34) students, taught according to the usual method, and the process of parity was carried out between the two research groups in the variables. : Chronological age calculated in months And the students grades in mathematics in the second grade of primary school, and the intelligence test scores. To achieve the goal of the research, the researchers prepared an achievement test tool consisting of (20) items in its final form. The validity of the tool was confirmed by presenting it to a group of experts and arbitrators, and reliability was calculated using the Couder-Richardon-20 equation. " The reliability value was (0.80).
