Social Features of Mosul Characters according to Ibn Alashar Al Mosuli (1256 A.D./654 A.H.)

The study of social aspects is one of the important studies in Arab Islamic history. Ibn-Alashers book, called "Galeed Algunen fi Fareed Shura Hadha Alzemen 1956AD 1654 AH), is one of the important sources that dealt with this topic. Although the content of this bark is specialized in literary aspects especially poetry and poets, it deals with various sides principally scientific administrative and economic ones as well as the social aspects. This book is characterized by the fact that its author was a contemporary and an eyewitness to most of the characters whom he Presented their biographies. The social aspects mentioned by Ibn-Alasher had many features including the reference to the appearance and moral qualities of the person concerned; whether he is adherent to religion or not. The author mentioned the famous Mosul families of that historical era as well asotheradditional characteristics.
