Measuring of Learning Process Pupils ofSecondary Schools
Abstract

This present study aims at Measuring science processes for the students of secondary schools and to know if there are statistical significant differences between the averages of testing science processes (male and females) . The population of the research consisted of preparatory secondary in city center of Mosul for the academic year (2003-2004) . The total number of the sample of the study reached (150) male and female pupils divided in to (75) male and (75) female pupils from randomly chosen from preparatory secondary schools . To achieve the aims of the study , a test was done to measure science processes after reviewing some related studies and test . The number of items reached (23) after showing the items to a committee of experts , five item were omitted to reach (18) items , the stability of each item was (0.92) using post test , and since the value is acceptable the test was applied on the sample during the second semester . Of the study result showed that : 1. Each student got an average of (9.6) out of (18) the total degree of the test . 2. There are statistical significant differences between males averages and females regarding the test of science processes in favorite , males . As for recommendations , the two researchers asserted the necessity of training the teachers skills of science processes and preparing a guideline comprises all the science processes with examples from the curriculums for secondary schools .
