Abstract
Verbal analogy in the Holy Quran is of the Quranic subjects that have been paid considerable interest by those studying the Book of Allah, and they authored many books in the present and past, scholars have afforded arguments serving Allahs Holy Book. This research entitled (Rhetoric of Shifting from One Preposition to another in Verbal Analogy in the Holy Quran) is on the same vein of our scholars, however, this study is distinguished in that it is not based on abolishing or simulating what has been stated by ancient scholars and innovators, rather it is a study based on analysis, studying, understanding, balancing and induction to form a brilliant shape that harmonizes with the aesthetic, critical and linguistic criteria built on active originality. What distinguishes this study is its trial to uncover how interpreters tackled the texts of verbal analogy and the reason that stirred them to select this saying rather than the other. The purpose behind this research is not to introduce a rhetorical interpretation or analysis to all what rhetoric concerning this subject, rather to set a general framework of how to analyse rhetorically in the light of the context of situation.
