The Extent of interest of the Teachers of History in the affective side in Teaching History from the Teachers and their Students Point of View at The College of Basic Education.
Abstract

( ) . : . . .The current research aims to know The Extent of interest of the Teachers of History in the affective side in Teaching History from the Teachers and their Students Point of View at The College of Basic Education.The sample was all (17) history teachers at the College and asample the (70) students of history department in all academic stages and their allocated history teachers for the academic year (2005/2006) . The sample was randomly chosen . To achieve the goal , the researcher used Hussein Al-Obadi model to measure the sensational sides for teachers and students each The researcher verified surface validity by showing to a panel of referees in Eduction psychology and teaching Methods, the stability was also verified using re-test and pearson conjunction factor , thus the applicable scales of (20) items both were ready . The two scales or tools were used on the sample subjects during the second semester of the academic year (2005/2006) for a month , and for correction purposes the researcher used Lakert quanterium scale using the following degrees (greatly big moderately few rarely ) . The researcher used the following statistical tools ( potential media percentage and Pearson conjunction factor ) and the items were arranged descendingly , analyzed and explained . The results were :- Negligence of history teachers to join sensational goals of teaching history from their students point of view specially the sides of teaching deductive , inductive thinking in history to motivate them to do activities related to history like looking for manuscripts , historian texts , to interest their students to have the high qualities of history scientists and to train them to explain and conclude the historical concepts by themselves . The results also showed that this negligence is less than the degree diagrammed according to teachers themselves Given the above mentioned results, the researcher presented a number of recommendations and suggestions like emphasizing the sensational sides of teaching history and specially the sides shown by the students
