Abstract

(96) 2006-2007 12 (56) (8) ( L.S.D) :- ( ) .- ( ) .The study aims at identifying the individual characteristics which distinguish players in different positions. To achieve this aim , it has been assumed that there are no significant differences in the individual characteristics in these players according to their different positions. The corpus consists of 96 players participating in the northern region qualifications (2006 2007), 12 players for each club. Frybourg list which includes 56 items that measures eight dimensions of individual characteristics in team games has been used . The data have been statistically analysed by using the mean differences analysis and L.S.D. It has been concluded that:1- Quietness and sociability are the best characteristics in these players according to their positions.2- Liability to aggressiveness and evocation are the lowest characteristics as they are mostly used by players in general.
