Abstract

, , , (200) (2008_2009). , , , ( , , ) , . .The research aimed to measure role confusion as well as academic adaptation of students of the first stage ,college of education .to know the relation between confusion and adaptation degree, and to find out the distinction in correlation coefficient for the dependent variable in gender and aspecialization, the sample of the research consisted of (200) students of the first year in the college of education from the scientific and human departments of the academic year (2008-2009). the research used two preparing scales, the first scale to measure the confusion role,whearas the second was to measure the academic adaptation. The researcher checks the test validity by using face validity and its reliability by using re-test. The research used t.test for one sample and t.test for two independent samples and person correlation coefficient to find the results that showed the individuals of the research sample were feeling in a weak degree of role confusion and they were interested in high degree from academic adaptation and there was no relation between them according to gender and specialization. According to the results, the researcher presented some recommendations and suggestions.
