Impact of using the method of problems solving on the Achievement of fourth- scientific students in Physics and developing Their scientific Tendancy
Abstract

The research aims at investigating the impact of using the method of problem solving on the achievement of fourth-year scientific students and developing their Scientific Tendancy towards Physics. The sample consists of (64) students. They were equally divided into (2) groups, experimental group which studied according to solving problem.And control group which studied according to the traditional method. An achievement test of (23) items was formed and the scale of zaytoon (1987) is adopted to measure the scientific tendencies which contains (42) item,. To analyze the results, T. test and persons correlation coefficient were adopted.The results showed statistically significant differences between the groups in favor of the experimental group, while no significant differences were found in developing scientific Tendancy for each group.In the light of the results, a number of suggestions and recommendation are listed such as encouraging teachers to adopt the method of solving problems in teaching and to conduct more studies in this aspect but in different stages and different learning teaching variables.
