The Role of School Administration In Preventing The Phenomenon Of Social Deviance Among Middle School Students From The Point Of View Of Their Teachers.
Abstract
The current research is considered descriptive and analytical research, as it aimed to reveal the most important manifestations of social deviance and its forms, and to identify the role of school administration in preventing social deviance among middle school students from the point of view of their teachers according to each field of instrument and degree, in addition to revealing the role of School administration in preventing delinquency according to the primary research variables (males - females) and the number of years of service. To achieve the research objectives, a questionnaire was designed consisting of 60 items with five-point alternatives, namely, strongly agree, agree, neutral, disagree, and strongly disagree, with 30 items for the administration axis. School and 30 items for the educational guidance axis. The research was applied to a sample consisting of (90) respondents, including 44 teachers and 46 schools. The data was treated statistically, and the research was completed. To a number of results, the most important of which is that the school administration and educational counselor in the city of Mosul played a positive and effective role in protecting students from the dangers of social deviance.
