الملخص
يرصد هذا البحث موقف الامم المتحدة من الحرب على غزة و ما قدمته من جهود لوقف هذه الحرب، لكونها تمثل المنتدى الدولي لحل الخلافات بين الدول و الحفاظ على الأمن و السلم الدوليين أن يسلط البحث بالذات الضوء على مدى ضعف و هشاشة المنظمة الدولية و زيف ادعاءات الشرعية الدولية التي تمثلها, اذ تمثل موقف الأمم المتحدة من الحرب على غزة بالصمت التام تجاه الاعتداءات الاسرائيلية ضد غزة لتأتي تحركاتها بشكل متأخر دون قدرة اجهزتها في ايقاف العدوان, وذلك من خلال ما تمارسه الدول الكبرى على رأسها الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية من سيطرة متمثلة بعرقلة عمل المنظمة عن القيام بمهامها و تنفيذ واجباتها المتعلقة بحفظ الأمن و السلم الدوليين كهدف اساس انشأت المنظمة من اجله, و هنا من يتناول هذا البحث دور الامم المتحدة في سياق حل النزاعات و الكيفية التي أستخدمت فيها الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية هذه المنظمة لحماية اسرائيل من خلال استخدامها حق النقض الأمر الذي يجعل من البنية المؤسسية الضعيفة للمنظمة و الهيمنة عليها من قبل الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية هما احد الاسباب المباشرة التي ادت الى اتساع رقعة الصراع و الحرب.
