In 1929, the beginning of diplomatic rapproachment between
both states was clear and these relations improved since mid of
1930 is due to the British position supporting the issue of Turkish
straits when Turkey demanded to hold an international conference
to review the articles within the treaty of Lozan in1923.
The British role supporting Turkey in Montreux conference in
1936 had got great effect for Turkey to have a complete control
upon the straits within that treaty on July ,20 of that year.
